Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 Nov 2025
1. Acceptance
By using this website or engaging BoltWebsite for services, you agree to these Terms. If you’re entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. Services
We provide website design and related services as described in our quote or statement of work (“SOW”). Any timelines are estimates and depend on timely client feedback and content delivery.
3. Quotes, Invoices, and Payment
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Invoices are due upon receipt (or as specified in the quote/SOW).
- We may pause work for overdue invoices.
3A. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via Interac e‑Transfer to our verified account (details provided on your invoice). Projects require a 50% deposit to begin, with the remaining balance due before launch.
4. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely content (text, images, logos) and approvals.
- Ensure you have the necessary rights and licenses for provided materials.
- Designate a single point of contact for feedback and decisions.
5. Revisions and Scope
Our quotes include a reasonable round(s) of revisions as specified in the SOW. Changes outside the agreed scope may require a change order with adjusted fees and timeline.
6. Third‑Party Services
We may recommend or set up third‑party services (e.g., hosting, domains, email, analytics, chat). You are responsible for ongoing third‑party fees and compliance with their terms.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you receive rights to the final website files and content we created for you (excluding third‑party assets, stock content, fonts, or our internal tools). We retain a non‑exclusive right to showcase the project in our portfolio and marketing.
8. Launch and Handover
After launch, we provide a 30‑day support period for bug fixes related to the delivered scope. Ongoing maintenance or new features can be provided under a separate agreement.
9. Warranties and Disclaimers
We provide services with reasonable care and skill. Except as expressly stated, the website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoltWebsite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach if not cured within 10 days after written notice. On termination, you will pay for work completed to date.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal laws. Disputes will be brought in the courts of Ontario.
